Research Interests
The researches of Prof. Mauro Ballero are steered in the ethnobotany and phytochemistry. He mainly is interested in extraction of molecules from endemic plant to value their biological activity. A particular attention is turned also at the study of relationship between plants and environment, too.
Biographical Information
Mauro Ballero has been Professor of Pharmaceutical Botany from 2002.
M. Ballero was the Director of the “Consorzio Interuniversitario per lo Studio dei Metabiliti Secondari di origine naturale” between University of Cagliari, University of Rome “La Sapienza”, University of Novara.
