Valentina Carraro was born in Quartu Sant’Elena (Ca), Italy. She received her degree in Biological Science from the University of Cagliari in March 2002. She was admitted in the Toxicology Ph.D. program in December 2007. Valentina is doing her dissertation project in hygiene food laboratory, with Prof. Sandro Dessì. She’s starting a study about the contamination of mollusc with phycotoxins.
