Maurizio Cossu was born in Sassari, Italy. He received his degree in Chemistry from the University of Sassari in November 2005. He was admitted in the Toxicology Ph.D. program in December 2007. Maurizio is doing his dissertation project in Food Science lab on the food safety of Sardinian wines.
He is now performing research on brain neurotrasmission and role in psychiatry and dring alonse, under the supervision of Prof. Ezio Carboni.
