Silvia Pinna was born in Cagliari, Italy. She received her degree in Experimental and Applied Biology from the University of Cagliari. She was admitted in the Toxicology Ph.D. program in December 2007. Silvia’s PhD project involves the study of the molecular and cellular mechanisms of hepatic proliferation and liver tumorigenesis in murine models.
